What song has "I'm one with the world at least for a little while" in the chorus?

In the television show John Doe, the episode "Tone Dead", during the final scene (with the licorice rope) you can hear some of the lyrics to the soft acoustic song. "And I'm one with the world, yes, I'm one with the world, oh, I'm one with the world, at least for a little while." seems to be part of the chorus. I can also hear "a generous slice of stilton, olives, and bread. Mix it all with good conversation" and "There's a beach I love to walk on my own, a thin strip of sand..." With all those lyrics I'm amazed that nothing comes up when I google it. Anyone know the song?
