What could scientists do if archeologists provided them with a sample of Jesus' DNA?

They would test it to see if it corresponds with the DNA of people in that area and make sure that it's as hold as it's supposed to be. However, DNA can't be used to prove a person's identity unless there's another known sample to compare it with. The best that could be verified is that it's the DNA of a middle eastern man from a few thousand years ago.
